Masks

Artistic and ritual masks inspired by the ancient Talayotic inhabitants of Menorca. It is a free invention of what could be the primitive art of these islanders today. The Talayotic people created their villages and monuments with the large stones they found in the countryside. I have created these characters, with a primitive air, with materials found on the shore of the sea of Menorca. They are made of wood, plastic, remains of nets, ropes… all current human waste.
It is a memory and a small tribute to my ancestors from more than 3000 years ago and an environmental complaint.
