“SHIPWRECKED SHOES”
From June 30 to July 21
In the exhibition hall Àlex García del Sagrada Familia CC. C/Provença 480. Barcelona
Enric Servera and Natalia Centelles (In his memory)
Shipwrecked Shoes is a photographic-literary project. Photographs of shoes found at sea, worn and eroded by the elements, which then have a narrative creation task of finding out how and who wore those shipwrecked shoes. The common artistic thread is how a found object, “object trouve”, which was also used by Duchamp, Miró, Picasso… is transformed into a work of art and, based on reflection, a small literary creation is made of it. On the other hand, there is a fairly important topic treated, which is the environmental aspect of our aquatic ecosystem.
