Artistic and ritual masks of the ancient Talayotic inhabitants of Menorca.
Until a few days ago it was unknown that the ancient inhabitants of this island expressed themselves artistically with these figurative objects. The recent discovery of these masks shows us that they did and, in addition, it is believed that they would also be used for funerary rituals. This fact makes us think that perhaps, until now, we underestimated their expressive and artistic capacity since no such find had been made. Without a doubt, the prehistory of the island of Menorca will have to be rewritten.
